Albed: The commercial fire door

Next, Albed’s flush interior fire door, can be specified with all the necessary hardware and certifications needed for hotel door compliance. Fire rated to El30, with a soundproofing rating of 31 dB, Next can be manufactured with a concealed interior door closer and concealed hinge technology; this creates a flush-to-wall aesthetic when the door is closed.

Designed as part of the architectural design of a space, Next has a concealed counter-frame that can be sunk into both brick and plaster walls. Specified in addition to the telescopic frame and adjustable hinges, the doors hardware allows for adjustment on site, ensuring that the door’s fit and opening work seamlessly with the surrounding environment.

  • Designed specifically for hotels, Next has been industry tested to halt the spread of fire for up to 30 minutes & offers an acoustic rating of 31 dB.
  • Hinge mechanism concealed within door jamb when door is closed.
  • Steel counter-frame recessed into the wall creates flush aesthetic.
  • Counter frame available separately for pre-installation.
  • Additional hardware includes electrified opening with remote (badge reader, central locking, attendant detector), built-in door closer & built-in draft protector.
  • Hinge and frame can be adjusted on site to ensure the fit and opening of the door work seamlessly with the door’s environment.
